The Body Shop's Tea Tree products are said to be highly effective in removing acne scarring and I have tried them all, but their 3-1 Tea Tree Mask is exceptionally effective. Read more to check out what Body Shop Tea Tree products have worked for me and those that weren't as effective.
I personally have stopped using drugstore products since a while gone, however I have heard so much about the Tea Tree line from The Body Shop that I've decided to go ahead and get them all to try them out. I am not going to lie, The Body Shop was probably my obsession back in my early childhood and walking into their store after so many years brought to me, so many memories. But one scent that was so unfamiliar yet so fetching to my nose was the Tea Tree Oil section!
Coincidentally it was a match made in heaven since I was in need of a natural solution to fade away my face scaring from acne, a common dilemma for many teenagers. Acne scarring is often frustrating and although they do not appear as they should in pictures, they are vey well visible to the bare eye. It was hard enough to combat acne but to deal with the scarring can be quite frustrating too. Of course I do get the occasional pimple even while being on accutane and so you may ask why I would use an oil to treat the scarring. But the Tea Tree Oil not only helps my clear up my skin but it is also one of the only formulas that treat my spots and my scars without parching out my skin to an sensational level.
Tea tree oil is an natural antioxidant infused in some of The Body Shop's products in order to remove acne as well as acne scars. It has always been known to do what it does best. It is composed of a formula insisting on the removal of bacterial infections from the inside of the pores to their surface to prevent future breakouts.
To treat my spots I reach for the Tea Tree Oil solution, a product so popular a bottle is sold every 12 seconds around the world. I swear by this product because it often nurses my pimple, acne scar or blemish over night! My skin is so oily yet sensitive and the Tea Tree Oil gently cares for what it has to do without leaving rashes on my skin from drying out too much.
Anytime I have a shoot or an important day coming up, I make sure I pamper myself with the 3 in 1 Tea Tree Body Shop Mask the night before. This product is absolutely great because it multitasks between exfoliating, moisturizing and removing impurities off my skin. It leaves my face with a plump freshened surface and mattifies my skin without over-drying it. Did I mention, you can also use this to as an exfoliator to scrub out all the dirt away!
I personally like to apply the mask once out of the shower, when my skin's pores are fully open, then I leave it for a good 15 minutes before I can enjoy looking in the mirror for a glossy and super clean skin!
After months of use, I proudly admit that these two picks from The Body Shop are still sitting in my bathroom drawer. I genuinely think they work and smell great! So whether you plan on buying them all just like I did to figure out your own picks, go ahead. But I can say that these two TBS products are probably the most effective and continue to do wonders, to this day.
