My hair is most probably the main topic of discussion when it comes to my look and the first question that always pops up is what kind of shampoo/conditioner I use. For those who know me, the answer is never consistent because like every other beauty regimens of mine, my products are in constant alternation. Although I may LOVE a certain product, I will not continuously stick to it because I also LOVE change and alternating between products is a fair compromise. If you have dark hair like me, it might take up to months of touch ups for your hair to adapt well with the chemicals. I did highlights over the summer and had them refreshened almost three times to finally get the color I originally wanted. In the process, my hair started getting rougher, frizzier and to mention, the color turned out orange so rapidly. You know very well yourself, how much of an disastrous effect bleach has on hair, and having dark hair does NOT help. What I absolutely despise is having the highlights pop off from the rest of my hair because let's be honest, none of us want spaghettis floating all around our hair. Luckily I got a hold of some products that helped me maintain a long lasting color and some sort of smooth vibrance & shine between the darker strands and the lighter ones. As you may or may not know, I've been adding warm highlights to my hair since summer and truth be told, the damage is REAL! I was one to always think that my hair was thick enough to resist the harm of color, while everyone would tell me that it just happens to everyone. A month ago I went to my hairdresser and asked him to tone out the colors to freshen up the highlights a bit. He introduced to me three of Shu Uemera's products for hair damage and color repair.  You would totally be lying to yourself if hair care is not on your beauty & style priority list.
